BOOK: Official Guide to RMS Queen Mary
Official souvenir guide book to the world’s most famous ocean liner.
Sailing across the Atlantic for 1001 crossings, the liner was in service for 31 years before retirement by the Cunard Line in 1967.
Fortunately, the Queen Mary was saved from scrap and bought by the City of Long Beach in California as a hotel, attraction with a series of restaurants.
Dozens of colour and black & white images, with chapters on her launching, war service, art on board, life at sea and the vast number of stately rooms still available to view by the visitor today.
By Roger Hardingham.
46 pages with fold-out plans.
