The ‘tea run’ on the S&D Branch. Evercreech to Bason Bridge Station (three and a half miles from Burnham). On the branch line section with its 11am goods van daily water runs, called the ‘tea run’. Many stations along the route did not have mains water and water was transported on a daily basis in four gallon milk churns for this ‘essential’ service. With empty/full churn exchange points along the line.

It includes previously unseen archive film.
