London Midland and Scottish lines intersected with those of the Great Western Railway, and a host of stations were built to serve the ever-expanding population.

Many of Bristol’s routes, and most of the former stations, have now been consigned to history.

Thanks to the help of Avon Valley Railway, who have lovingly restored part of the local system, you can now journey through time to recreate the magic of the railways in their heyday.
