2011 has been a year of celebration for many railways and enthusiasts, April saw the official opening of the Ecclesbourne Railway, a nine mile railway from Wirksworth to Duffield.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railway celebrated the 175th Anniversary of the Whitby to Pickering Railway, the Tanfield Railway celebrated their 40th Anniversary.

Along with all these celebrations footage is included from special events, gala weekends, war weekends plus much more from a massive selection of railways around the UK.
