The Spa Valley or the Tunbridge Wells to Eridge Railway is situated in one of Kent’s loveliest towns in the county.
It is full of interesting buildings and promenades.
Archive film of steam trains at the Tunbridge Wells West Station in the British Railways period are featured first.
More recent filming shows the determination of the volunteer staff and members working towards the extension to Eridge – a joint station with the main line.
The first public trains to Eridge started on 25th March 2011.
Other special days are shown.
Diesels share the duties with steam.
The Jinty, Austerity, Ugly, also Ex GWR, LT Pannier L99 is seen in GWR livery then LT colours.
A visiting GWR 2-6-2 take special runs during the Steam Gala on 16th April 2011.
