Volume 3 explores this line using a collection of archive film taken in the 1950s and 1960s.

A History of the Line: From conception through to the British Railways era including a look at the motive power over the years on a variety of traffic. Includes the first diesel workings in the 1950s on passenger and freight.

Along the Lea Valley: A journey along the line looking at the stations at Welwyn, Ayot, Wheathampstead, Harpenden East, Luton Hoo and Luton Bute Street using archive film.

Specials: Various steam hauled special trains in the British Railways Era with views from the train and lineside.

The Last Train: Plus a final journey along the line in 1965.

Luton: Archive film of the town and stations at Luton Bute Street and Luton Midland with a variety of traffic from express passenger to freight. Includes Black 5s, 9Fs and Jubilees.

A look at the former railway today and an exploration of the remains of the stations and trackbed.
