An exploration of the railways of East Anglia past and present looking at a range of motive power on the main lines and branches of Norfolk and Suffolk.

Through March: A look at freight traffic in and around the station, at Whitemoor Yard and Manea. Includes archive from the 1990s with Class 47, 08, 60 and 31 haulage.

Ely: A look at the cross country hub into East Anglia with a wide range of traffic in and around the station and North Junction. Metro Cammel DMUs, 31s, 47s and 66s all feature with film from the 1980s to the present.

The Kings Lynn Main Line: Freight and passenger traffic including a DMU special along the Middleton Towers branch in 1986.

Cross Country: The lines running through Thetford and Bury St Edmunds.

Ipswich: A range of passenger and freight in and around the station including film from the 1990s with Freightliner 47s and 57s, DRS 37s and Class 56s.

Felixstowe & the East Suffolk: A look at Westerfield and Trimley past and present plus the Leiston branch. Archive of Class 37s and 56s on freight is included.

South to Manningtree: Features Belstead Bank and Manningtree with Class 90s on passenger and vintage freight action.

The Norwich Main Line: Express passenger action.

Norwich: The loco hauled capital of the network with Class 37s and 90s plus Class 86s in the 1980s.

The Wherry Lines: The final summer of Class 37s on the ‘Short Set’, with 37 419, 37 716, 37 405, 37 407 and 37 424 at a number of locations plus a look back to the 47 hauled ‘drags’ on Liverpool Street services.

The Cromer & Sheringham Branch: The 1990s with Class 31s and 37s on Freight, Metro Cammel DMUs and the last summer of 2nd Generation DMU operation.
