Westbury in Wiltshire is a busy junction station with substantial yards serving the nearby quarries and engineers trains.

Filmed over several visits in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2004 this DVD depicts the changing freight scene from Class 33 and 37 in 1998 to Class 66 dominance in 2004.

Starting in 1998 we see plenty of heritage traction with Classes 09, 33, 37 and 59 working light engine, oil tankers, engineers, passenger and stone trains.

Since introduction in 1985 the Class 59 has been synonymous with stone traffic and we see Foster Yeoman, ARC, Hanson and EWS Class 59/0, 59/1 and 59/2s.

Featuring more than seventy workings from Classes 08, 09, 31, 33, 37, 47, 58, 59, 60 and 66.

Loco-hauled cross-country with 31s and 47s, plus a 47 hauled Pullman railtour.

Many mixed freight workings including brake vans and older wagons.

Approx. 90 minutes.
