Amateur footage filmed between 1996-2002.

Three busy days at Bletchley on the West Coast Main Line (WCML) showing the contrast between 1996, 1997 and 2002.

Located a short distance from Milton Keynes, Bletchley is a busy junction for the line to Bedford.

A number of DMU ‘Bubble Cars’ are seen working the branch in 1996, replaced by 150 DMUs by 2002.

Locomotives featured include classes 31, 37, 47, 56, 58, 60, 66, 86, 87, 90 and 92.

A few of the highlights include:

Intercity class 86, 87 and 90 give way to Virgin Trains by 2002.

Class 31s and 37s working light engine and freight in and out of the yard.

Railfreight & Freightliner class 47, 86 and 90 start to be replaced by the new Freightline class 66.

Class 56 and 58 working Enterprise.

Class 90s dragging class 92s on test runs.

Action packed featuring over 125 trains!
