Sit back and relive the last decade at the Severn Valley Railway, one of the UK’s premier heritage railways. This 4-disc DVD features over 4 hours of action filmed from 2014 to 2024, filmed across the 16-mile railway and showcasing more than 50 steam locomotives.

The 16-mile railway runs from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster, following the course of the River Severn through much of the Severn Valley. It features many superbly maintained intermediate stations, including Bewdley, Arley, Highley, and Hampton Loade.

Throughout this four-disc collection, sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of numerous steam engines at various events and locations along the railway, from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth, over the past 10 years.

Disc overview:

Disc 1 – 2014 to 2016: Includes multiple steam gala events between 2014 and 2016, including visiting locomotives BR 7MT No.70000 ‘Britannia’, LMS 7P No.46100 ‘Royal Scot’, LMS ‘Crab’ No.13065 and others. The railway saw the return of Great Western Manor No.7802 ‘Bradley Manor’ and SR No.34027 ‘Taw Valley’. GWR 45xx No.4566 was repainted into BR Black, which is seen on a photo charter in April 2014.

Disc 2 – 2017 to 2019: Includes multiple spring and autumn steam gala events, including visiting locomotives GER Y14 No.564, LMS 8P No.6233 ‘Duchess Of Sutherland’, LNER Q6 No.63395, BR 4MT No.76017 and SR WC No.34092 ‘City Of Wells’. Various running-days are included featuring the home fleet of locomotives.

Disc 3 – 2020 to 2022: Features multiple events including the re-opening post Covid-19 Lockdowns, spring and autumn gala events featuring visiting locomotives GWR No.6960 ‘Raveningham Hall’, GWR No.2999 ‘Lady Of Legend’, LNER A4 No.4498 ‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ and others.

Disc 4 – 2023 to 2024: Covers multiple events across 2023 and 2024, including the popular spring and autumn steam gala events; the newly launched winter steam gala and more. Multiple steam locomotives returned to traffic including LMS Mogul No.13628 and GWR No.4930 ‘Hagley Hall’. GWR No.2999 ‘Lady Of Legend’ returned to the railway for the summer season, a photo charter featuring ‘Lady Of Legend’ is included from September 2024.
