Amateur footage.
In 1985 Foster Yeoman placed an order with General Motors for four class 59/0s.
Delivered in 1986, these were the first US built locos to operate regularly on the British main line.
A fifth 59/0 arrived in 1988.
In 1990 ARC ordered four class 59/1 locomotives, this was followed by an order by National Power for a further six class 59/2 locos which were built between 1994 and 1995.
This bought the total number of class 59s to 15.
In 1997 Foster Yeoman 59003 was exported to Germany, we see her working through Swindon in 1995.
This exclusive DVD features footage of all class 59/0s and all class 59/1s, plus four of the six class 59/2s filmed between 1995 and 2001.

A variety of liveries including:
Foster Yeoman, ARC, National Power, Hanson and English Welsh and Scottish Railway (EWS).
