Chapter 1 – Baie De Somme Festival April 2009.

The Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme is a dual gauge preserved railway situated in the Picardy area of France running from Le Crotoy through Noyelles to St. Valery sur Somme.

Every three years a Steam Festival is held when all the working engines are steamed together with some guest engines.

Chapter 2 – Paris to Noyelles with 141R840.

The second chapter features the mainline steam special which operated in conjunction with the Baie de Somme Steam Festival.

Mikado 141R840 hauled the special from Paris to Noyelles on the Saturday.

Chapter 3 – Montlucon Festirail – 20th June 2009.

Three steam engines hauled specials to Montlucon from different areas to appear at the event 141R840 from Bourgs, 141TD740 from Gueret and 141R420 from Clermont-Ferrand.

The two 141Rs ran a shuttle train to Commentry during the afternoon before the late afternoon departure saw 141R840 and 141TD740 perform parallel departures to Bourgs and Gueret.

Chapter 4 – Orleans to Brive with 141R840.

The weekend of October 3rd and 4th 2009 saw 141R840 work a special train in connection with a visit to the town of Rocamadour situated in a beautiful gorge.

Several views of the train on both days are shown.
