More Sussex in Old Film Dvd

A programme by Totally Archive.

As the name suggests all the footage on this dvd is archive amateur footage.

We do not pad out our dvds with contemporary footage or still photography – all ‘Totally archive’.

All the footage was shot on silent film but we include interesting informative commentary where appropriate.

The footage on this dvd dates back to the 1930s with many scenes from the 1950s and 60s.

The latest footage is about thirty years old.

Following the success of our first DVD we have produced a second using archive footage of Sussex.

The format follows that of the original.

Just as charming and nostalgic as the first programme ‘Sussex in Old Film’.

Featuring:

Scenes from Hastings, Eastbourne, Arundel, Bognor and many small villages.

Brighton decorated for the Coronation.

Dignitaries arriving at Gatwick for Winston Churchill’s funeral and being taken onto London in special steam trains.
