As the name suggests all the footage on this dvd is archive amateur footage.

We do not pad out our dvds with contemporary footage or still photography – all ‘Totally archive’.

All the footage was shot on silent film but we include interesting informative commentary where appropriate.

All aspects of the county are explored including its industries like coal mining and hop farming.

Being the gateway to Europe the ports of Dover and Folkestone are shown.

Lydd airport and trolley buses at Maidstone.

This DVD of Kent features previously unseen footage of the County dating back to the 1930s, with the majority being shot in the 1950s and 1960s.

Places visited include:

Tunbridge Wells, Margate, Deal, Sittingbourne, Dreamland, Margate, Brands Hatch.

Steam railways, steam trains including the Golden Arrow delivering their more affluent passengers.

An accident on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway.

Hop pickers, equine sports, Walmer lifeboat, families enjoying themselves on the beach, Ramsgate model village and much more.
