Essex & East Anglia Dvd

A programme by Totally Archive.

As the name suggests all the footage on this dvd is archive amateur footage.

We do not pad out our dvds with contemporary footage or still photography – all ‘Totally archive’.

All the footage was shot on silent film but we include interesting informative commentary where appropriate.

Shot in black/white and colour.

Footage dates back to the 1930s, with much of the footage from the 1950s and 1960s.

This dvd explores the region from Southend and Clacton in the south, through the picturesque inland and coastal towns to the wonderful Norfolk Broads.

Spalding Flower Festival is also visited.

We visit the holiday resorts of Southend and Clacton.

Enjoy trips to Butlins, Harwich Docks, Southend Airport and many picturesque towns and villages.

Low bridge on Broads and building a haystack.

The Norfolk Broads could not be forgotten and a visit is made to a boat yard in the 1930s.

Approx. 56 minutes.
